The passing of time makes it easier for the cycles I’m in to remain. Distractions, reactions, and the slow burn of life all convolute purpose and progress.

Yelling in the moment felt right, saying those words to hurt felt good, ‘winning’ was oh so sweet… but met with near immediate regret. Giving in to anger and ego feeds the wrong wolf, reinforcing behaviors and actions ultimately leading to self-destruction. Kindness shouldn’t feel harder than hate…and if it does, I’m on the wrong path. This piece is a reminder to choose love, zoom out for a bigger picture view before acting, and check those knee jerk reactions > keep the wolf at bay.
